Personally, I like it :) Captures the emotion from the song perfectly, with a different twist on the style.

I dig it :) You know i love me some anime samples in my songs :D

You're going to want to listen to that Lapse guy. He knows his stuff.

This really is great the quality is superb and the pacing of the song is fantastic. Holy cow.. it just gets better and better the more I listen to it the better it gets.. This is absolutely great.

Ultran responds:

nubbinownz,
Thanks much.

I definitely discovered some fantastic musicians here recently, and am hoping to dig deeper and post some good karma this weekend. :)

:D this is fun. I love the glitched leads.

You sneaky bastard. You are one talented individual. :) This truly is beautiful. Everything is played so well. Regardless of our electronic styles, you humble me musically.

SineRider responds:

thank you nubbin :D where you been man?

Here's what I need from you.

I need the FLP for the first song. and then the one that starts 2:09, DEFINITELY the one that starts at 2:09.. seriously.

Gorgeous, beautiful, sublime.

Thank you. Wonderful melody, solid drum work and kept me entertained through the entire duration. I want more like this from you. Seriously.

RetromanOMG responds:

Oh dammit, one of my idols was genuinely impressed by my music. THAAAAAANK YOOOOOOUUUU

This will definitely motivate me to keep pushing forward with my music.

Incoming review.

Love the drum stylings here. What potatobomber is meaning is that while the drums are aggressive they have taken the focus off the rest of the song. It's very easy to forget that a melancholy tune lies under the aggressive drums. You can remedy this by working on your mixing a bit more. Make sure that you've got your levels balanced. The piano and drums need to sit in a nice harmonious existence in the soundscape of your song. As soon as one drastically over powers the other you reach an imbalance that really detracts from the overall enjoyment of the song.

Really diggin the piano melody here, though I would wholeheartedly suggest finding some better piano sample/vsts I personally use reason for most of my pianos. Look into rewiring reason into fruity loops ( google it ).

The mood of the song fits into my personal comfort zone very well. sounds very similar to the type of music I was creating early on in my musical "career".

All in all, I like it :D I know the chances of you going back to change anything mentioned here are slim to none, as I personally don't ever really go back and change anything about a song I've already finished. But try to keep them in mind when working on your next piece. :)

Someone should've warned me or something, I almost had a heart attack!
Man, this is so awesome; thanks a lot. One of the most helpful reviews someone has ever done on one of my submissions.
Well, now I'm planning on fixing the mix a bit but just like you said, I don't really like to go back and change a finished song. Anyway, I'll keep in mind all these freakinly helpful tips forever :D
I can't believe you like this :D this is so awesome! I'm so happy T_T lol
If it sounds similar to your music that's cause it's inspired by you lol And you finding this similar to your music is a huge compliment for me, thanks for that :D
I'll try to find a better vst for the piano stuff. I liked this piano sound but now with your suggestion I'm starting to realize it's not that good lol.

Wow man this is incredible... Imagine Aphex Twin reviewing one of your tracks... This is even better than that for me... Thank you so much :D
:D
:D

:) :D

Really dig the drop at :33 lot of energy in this song, though I will agree with cameron that you could use a different piano patch to really bring this song into the awesome.

uh oh

Got me worried.

SineRider responds:

lol no you got me worried

I once taught a fish how to walk on land. He was grateful enough to teach me how to swim. (dude)
