hha excellent!

This hits home pretty hard. because the funny thing is, Guitar is my first and main instrument. well done my man, I really do like it, you kept the original feel of the song as it was intended. I thank you very much for this as it means an incredible amount to me.

I love it man. i really do.

Scribbler responds:

I did not know guitar was your first instrument, what a coincidence! I am glad you liked my rendition of the song and still love your melodies!

Thanks for the review and keep up the good stuff.

Awesome on the real

From the very beginning, the arp melody catches me I'm looking at the horizon flying by.

then the drums come in as I'm soaring higher into the night. Speeding up to something.

I want more!! ! Add more to this song Give me an amazing drum beat that would fit perfectly into this. Oh man I can feel it. This song has some WICKED potential

aryst0krat responds:

Sadly...

*sad sigh*

I don't have anything but the mp3s of these songs thanks to using the demo version of FL (no saving). Soooo I'd have to try and remember it all. Which I've done once actually lol

But I think I'd rather switch to... reason, is it?

Thanks for the review, I'll be sure to use this sort of arp melody better in the future if it's that enjoyable :3

hehe awesome stuff

Anyone who remixes The Eagles, like this. Deserves a prize my man. Very well made. Everything sounds wonderfully mastered. Keep it up man :)

SkyMarshall responds:

Haha, yeah thanks for the 10 man =) I do love it c",)

Really dig the melody man

It's very soothing., Very calm, And the beat is VERY minimalist. I like it for serious.
That rhodes /organ that you've got really fits the song. This sounds like it would have words in it. IT's got a solid construction. do some lyrics, you know you want to :D

Manhart responds:

Thank you soo much for reviewing! I actually started it with piano :) , but then I changed it to rhodes. Yes I wanna write lyrics and sing it too, but I just suck at writing lyrics, especially in english . . . :P

yeah yeah yeah

The intro is fine just as it is having it explode is great! the progression is wonderful eqing isn't that bad actually i don't here it clipping at all. keep it up man. It's hot.

Karco responds:

Yeah, I decided that a while ago. And I'm not complaining if you're not. :) Thanks for the review.

uhh

... it's not even really speedcore, it's more speedgabber than anything lol

Triented responds:

yuh!

My god...

So much, emotion in this. This is hauntingly beautiful man
It's like you've poured yourself into this piece. I know how improvisation goes
you start to play what you feel, and this peice makes me curious as to what you
were feeling when you played this. It brings me to tears man, the dynamics, the progression , everything about it! I can only dream of being able to play piano like this. Thank you for this amazing peice.

Plasmatic responds:

Wow, thanks for the amazing comments. It was a time of a lot of self reflection and looking back really. Haha, and I must've been really feeling that nostalgia. This was definitely however my 5th or 6th recording of this though-even though it was improvisation this was the version I liked the best. Rather, this one I felt like I had let out as most as I could in one sitting-since all of them are basically more chunks of that one big emotion. Next time I'm going through something really emotional I'll be sure to record again!

ur gun get hit in the balls hehe

this is awesome man, and the idiocracy reference is epic win my man :)

Psychopath responds:

Thanks friendly stranger. Thanks for the praise

ahh magoo you've done it again!

I see you're making good use of those samples ;) Really the piano melody at the beginning is enchanting. You've been practicing your drum sequencing I can tell.
Only thing I could have added personally is a bit of reverb/delay on those slowed drums near the end, to give them a bit more presence. but other than that, this is absolutely superb.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Heh heh heh, yes i am. I really found out how to get that breakcore 'amen break' style. I also incorporated some random bits I have been practicing. I've actually got alot of random drum parts here and there that i was putting together just for fun / study hah. You know, i was going to add some more reverb. I actually went back and did more work to this song. I havent posted up the newer version. There's also a click at the end of one the snare samples that i got rid of - from when the sample abruptly ends. That snare was actually has reverb on it. But i have it hit and cut out before the echo finishes. Thought that was a nice effect. But on that second kick i put some more reverb on it. the more - i may see what it sounds with the amen kick too? I just liked how the echo on the snare cut, thats mainly why i didnt fill up the drums with too much reverb. Thank you for your advice, man, its fun to see you think as i do XD. All about that reverb. Ah-hah! I've been trying to use it in creative ways. In some of my more recent songs. I really like the heavy reverb to cut. Also messing around with events which i did in this song. Where you control how much is going on. So turning it down, to turning it up, to making it wider, etc. blah blah, hah, i talk too much XD

awesome

The beginning sounds like a phased didgeridoo. The bass line is hot as hell. The glitched drums are gorgeous as always. The actual drum kit you used is cool as shit. All the synths are wonderfully made. This is probably your most proffessional sounding track to date, definately something you could hear on a TV show or video game. Absolutely stunning mastering job. This is super clean man. I expect more like this from now on. No excuses ;) You've really come A long way since that first post here. This is just amazing Sir hatt. Thank you for this contribution to music.

DoctorAttitude responds:

Thanks a lot man, that means a lot to me, I will do my best :) So when are we getting cracking on a collab track, let's show NG how it's DONE.

As far as music here goes man, you're some the most inspirational to me. Hell I learned how to program my drums from your tracks :D

I once taught a fish how to walk on land. He was grateful enough to teach me how to swim. (dude)
