You've got one special girl to inspire a song like this.. This is absolutely fantastic man. It really makes me ashamed that I never learned the piano.... or anything about music for that matter :( seriously this is gorgeous... it's almost brought me to tears..
Your love shows .. and it makes me incredibly happy.

Thank you so much for this submission kaizer .. This is beautiful .. I love it. The only one critique I could add, is to lower the drums just a beat.. they seem to really jump in your face and take a bit away from the ambient side.. Try putting an equalizer on them and dropping the highs out of it.. that seems to work well for me lol
either way, fantastic piece here

I did lower the volume of the drums, and height of them. Hopefully this helps with the overall presentation.

Iz dat some bootiful ambient ? :) I disagree with previous poster. The drums are perfect. It's ambient with drums. Just because it's a chillout song doesn't mean there has to be a lame ass beat. Well done man. 5d :)

The progression is phenomenal. It sounds like you're just starting to get a feel for those "glitch" drums. Keep practicing man. It's all about learning what does what and catching the syncopation. Remember to treat the glitches as drum hits. Even though you're hat roll is like .. 10-20 hits. It's still taking place of one single hit. Use it as such and that will make your glitch sound more on time. Try rolling the snares as well a bit more, pitch shifts will really bring out the dynamics for you.
it's a well done song man. I expect to hear more of this kind of of stuff from you :) Newgrounds needs more IDM imo :)

I could use some more glitch perhaps, but this is definitely well done. The melody, the percussion is wonderful. Looks like I'll have to be keeping my eye on you :)
Author's Response:
yea, I'm not very good at glitching which is the main thing pretty much to idm, lol. Thanks for the review though :)

I'm so glad you're breaking out of that trance vibe. This is much better. You've captured the feel and emotion of the story so very perfectly. Really my fellow PUA. I am being incredibly genuine when I say this is fantastic.

Isn't that the original progression for that halo song ? Either way sounds fantastic. very relaxing. Full of emotion, a bit on the loud side.. but not enough to make it bad ;D
Author's Response:
Lol haha this is actuallly inspired from that. The notes arent exactly the same but i was messing around one day and i played something that sounded like the halo song. and thats one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack.
And yea my songs always tend to be loud i keep forgetting to turn the volume down in the beginning and then when i do it at the end it doesn't sound right.
Thanks a lot for the review im glad u like it.
